Leslie Murphy

Senior Development Officer

In collaboration with colleagues and the SELC board, Leslie connects individual donors to the work of SELC, growing our network of supporters in the Southeast and beyond. As part of the development leadership team, she currently spearheads the major gifts, events, planned giving and sustaining donors teams.  

She came to SELC with more than a decade of experience in fundraising for national environmental organizations, and, as a lifelong Southerner, is excited to focus on protecting this region and tackling climate change in the South. 

Leslie lives in Crozet, Va., and likes to spend her weekends backpacking in Shenandoah National Park, hiking in George Washington National Forest or canoeing on Lake Moomaw.
