Blain Harrison

Director, IT Operations

Blain leads the SELC Information Technology team. He aligns IT strategy with the organization’s mission and goals. He manages IT governance and best practices, security, and budget. 

“I love helping our team by meeting their technology needs for all the work we do from fighting for clean air and water, to protecting underserved communities,” he said. 

Based in Atlanta, Blain grew up in Louisiana and has fond memories of the entire Gulf Coast. He loves the coastal communities that dot the area and Gulf Shores, AL, is a particularly special destination.   

“I care deeply about the mission of SELC having seen firsthand the impact of environmental mismanagement and experiencing the devastating effects of coastal erosion,” he said, “as well as manmade disasters such as the Deep Water Horizon catastrophe.”
