Aisha Dukule

Communications Manager

Aisha oversees communications for our regional energy and climate work. She manages all phases of outreach, from messaging strategy and materials development to media relations. She works closely with SELC attorneys and the design, digital, geospatial, and marketing teams to develop and implement communications strategies.

Aisha is especially adept at developing communications and targeting diverse audiences, whether they are small-scale cocoa farmers in West Africa or ESG investors in Berkeley focused on sustainable businesses. Prior to SELC, she executed research-led plans for advocacy campaigns, nonprofits, and political clients.

Her international experience includes coordinating communications for the 2017 Liberian presidential campaign, and as a communication strategies consultant for global agribusiness and investment advisory sectors.

Born in Liberia and raised in Baltimore, Aisha now lives in D.C. and works out of the SELC office there. Uplifting climate solutions and environmental justice in the southeast is a strong motivator for her.

“I have a deep passion and commitment to protecting the environment, fighting climate change, and ensuring justice for all,” she said.
