Join us in person or virtually as leading experts and Southern voices shine a spotlight on some of the most pressing climate issues impacting our region and beyond. We invite you to attend this three-part series that centers the U.S. South in the climate conversation.
This live event is FREE and open to the public featuring thought-provoking conversations, Southern food, and a showcase of the region we call home. In person seating is limited and advanced registration is recommended. Virtual attendees must register separately for each Zoom session; registration for one session does not provide access to the others.

Why is SELC going to Climate Week?
There is no path to solving the climate crisis that doesn’t run through the South.
Yet we are often missing from the conversation, despite the reality that our region uniquely contributes to and suffers from the impacts of climate change.
While the South faces significant challenges, it also holds immense opportunity.
Across our region, we’re connecting thousands of climate and environmental advocates — from urban neighborhoods to rural communities — to develop solutions from the ground up.
So, this year we are bringing the South to Climate Week NYC to share the experiences and knowledge that only SELC and those shaping solutions on the ground can provide.
