Office:

Charlottesville, VA – Headquarters

Claire Morville

Development Coordinator

Claire is the orchestrator of administration and finance for SELC’s Development team. She manages the team’s hiring and onboarding and, as an interdepartmental liaison, she contributes to the planning and execution of events, travel, messaging, and budgets.

Since joining SELC, Claire says she’s been inspired by the work on the federal funding freeze. “We are standing up for our communities and our nonprofit partners who are hurt by these unlawful actions. I love being part of a team with such confidence and courage.”

Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Claire moved to Virginia to build an animal sanctuary with her dad, driven by the mission to make the world a better place for all sentient beings. “It’s a safe haven for chickens, goats, donkeys, and llamas, and for all sorts of wild animals too. That’s a key reason I jumped at the chance to join SELC. I am thrilled to be protecting our environment for all creatures great and small.”
