Mr. Haynes is a real estate developer, contractor and entrepreneur, and was a managing partner of his family’s real estate development firm, Oak Tree Partners. He founded and currently serves as managing partner of Public Square, a sustainable real estate investment and development company focused on the adaptive reuse of historic structures. He is former chair of the Metro Nashville Arts Commission, the City of Gallatin’s Industrial Development Board, and served on the boards of Cumberland Region Tomorrow. He holds a political science degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a certificate of French Language from the Sorbonne.
