SELC is renowned for its staff, whose abilities and excellent credentials are matched only by their passion for protecting our region’s health and environment. Finding and mentoring the next generation of exceptional environmental lawyers and leaders remains at the core of SELC’s mission.

I grew up in Tuscaloosa, in the heart of the Black Warrior River Basin. When I learned about SELC and its Alabama office, it dawned on me that here was a beneficial way I could use the skillset I had developed over 20 years of litigation practice to fight for our rivers. Here was a way to do challenging and fulfilling work that protects places I love.
